This is a free event for students in grades 7–12 and their parents or caregivers.
Please note: This event will discuss sensitive topics, including illegal substances, addiction, and overdoses. While the content is designed to be age-appropriate for middle and high school students, caregivers and youth are encouraged to consider their individual comfort levels when deciding whether to attend.

Radness Ensues is hosting a welcoming, youth-centered afternoon with Fentanyl Free Oregon, with planned support from Community Medical Services.
The goal is straightforward: to give young people and their families a space to learn, ask questions, and connect with practical prevention resources without fear-based messaging or judgment. After the presentation and discussion, youth will also be invited to participate in a free button-making activity.
The event is free and open to students in grades 7–12. Parents and caregivers are warmly welcome to attend.
What to Expect
An age-appropriate fentanyl awareness presentation from Fentanyl Free Oregon
A group discussion and time to ask questions
Naloxone education and practical overdose-prevention information
Take-home naloxone kits
A free button-making activity following the presentation and discussion
An ice cream social
A chance to connect with community members who care about young people, prevention, and creating safer communities
Fentanyl Free Oregon works to help Oregonians, especially youth, understand the risks of illicit fentanyl and how communities can respond through education, prevention, and support.

Radness Ensues is providing our community space and youth-centered approach for the afternoon, with Community Medical Services expected to support the naloxone education portion of the event.
Fentanyl Free Oregon is sponsoring a free button making activity following the discussion where everyone in attendance can make unlimited pin-back buttons for the duration of the event.
A Community Event Built for Conversation
This is not meant to be a lecture or a scare tactic.
It is an opportunity for young people and their caregivers to have honest, age-appropriate conversations, learn practical information, ask questions, connect with people and resources in their community, and finish the afternoon with a creative activity together.
Youth do not need to arrive with any prior knowledge—just curiosity.
